Hawaii Trip Raffle - NYC Fundraiser

To support fundraising efforts for the band trip to New York in April 2023, we are working with Music Celebrations International (MCI) to hold a raffle for a trip to Hawaii. This post attempts to answer some common questions about the fundraiser.

Ticket Sales

Q: How much are tickets?

A: Tickets are $25 each, or 5 tickets for $100.

Q: How can I get more tickets?

A: One of the boosters board members will be at each marching band practice until the end of the season, at marching band events like parades, and available at other times. You can reach out to to find out exactly when.

Q: How do I turn in paid or unused tickets?

A: There is a locked mailbox in the band room where tickets can be returned. Please make sure the ticket stubs and money are in an envelope with the students name on them.

The Prize

Q: What is the prize exactly?

A: A 5-night vacation in Hawaii, including airfare and hotel on the island of Oahu. The Raffle winner must be 18 years of age or older.

Q: When will the drawing be held?

A: We are hoping to have the drawing at a spirit night event hosted by a local restaurant, but the details are still being worked out. The drawing will be held by March 25, 2023.

Q: If I win, how do I claim the prize?

A: After the drawing we will contact the winner using the contact information provided and convey the information on how to claim the free trip with MCI.

Q: Is airfare included?

A: Yes, airfare is included from any major airport in the United States.

Q: What are the dates for the trip?

A: This will be determined by the winner and MCI. MCI will need the chosen dates at least 100 days prior to the departure for Hawaii, and the trip must be taken within the 2023 or 2024 calendar years.

Q: What hotel in Hawaii will I be staying in if I win?

A: The hotel will be chosen once the dates are set. It will be a 3-4 star hotel centrally located in Honolulu.
